Integrating ProveSource with Ecwid

Learn how to setup ProveSource on your Ecwid store.

It only takes a few minutes to setup ProveSource on your Ecwid store. Once you are done, we'll start displaying your visitors' activity and increase your conversion rates right away!

Installing ProveSource using Goggle Tag manager:

From your Ecwid admin, go to Settings β†’ Google Tag Manager:

Enable Google Tag Manager:

Next, go to Google Tag Manager and add the ProveSource code, you have 2 options:

Method #1

1. Grab your ProveSource code

2. Continue in GTM

  1. Create a new tag.

  2. Select Custom HTML for the tag configuration.

  3. Paste the ProveSource code in the HTML section.

  4. Add an All Pages trigger (same goes for Single Page Applications / SPAs).

  5. Save.

3. Don't forget to Submit and Publish your changes!

Method #2

ProveSource has an official Google Tag available to install directly from the Google Tag Manager Gallery in this link.

You'll need to have your API Key ready in order to use this method.

To add the code to your order page as well:

1. Copy your ProveSource code from the Install page -> Javascript Code.

2. From your Ecwid admin, go to Settings β†’ General β†’ Tracking & Analytics.

3. Scroll down to the Custom tracking code on Order Confirmation page section and click the toggle. You will see a pop-up:

4. Add your custom code in the Custom tracking code on Order Confirmation page box in the pop-up.

5. Click Save.
