ProveSource’s reviews notification lets you display verified customer reviews from your Google Business Profile as pop-ups on your website.
These notifications build trust and credibility, showing real feedback from real customers, helping new visitors feel confident and encouraging them to take action.

Reviews on Google provide valuable information about your business and website to both you and your customers. Business reviews appear next to your listing in Maps and Search. Show reviews to your website visitors to increase their trust and boost your conversion rate.

To start showing Google testimonials on your website, follow the steps below.

1. Create a new notification

  1. Click New Notification.

  2. Select the Reviews notification type.

2. Select Google Reviews as your source

In the Track step, choose Google Reviews as the source.

3. Find your business

You have two options to locate your business:

  • Search your business name and select it from the dropdown list.

  • Use your Google Maps link: open your business in Google Maps, copy the full URL, and paste it into ProveSource.

4. Configure display settings

Decide where to display your Google Reviews pop ups.

  • Show them on specific pages, pages that contain a phrase, or all pages.

  • You can also exclude URLs such as checkout or thank-you pages.

5. Set your message

Choose the notification language and decide if you want to add an avatar image for users without a profile photo.

6. Customize what visitors see

Fine-tune how your notification looks and behaves.

You’ll find several sections inside the Customize tab:

  • Design: adjust font, colors, position and more.

  • Behavior: choose whether visitors can close notifications or click them.

  • Timing & Display Rules: hide empty reviews, control how long each notification appears, limit how many reviews are shown and more.

Use the live preview to see the design changes.

7. Launch your notification

Give your notification a name, then click Save and activate it in the dashboard.

8. Verify imported reviews

Go to the Feed page to confirm that your reviews were imported.

Please give it a couple of minutes to import and if the reviews are still not imported try the alternative way to find your business (step 3) or contact our support team.

NOTE: we fetch new reviews automatically every 24 hours.

Congratulations! Your Google Reviews should now be displayed in your website.
