It only takes a few minutes to set up ProveSource on your Squarespace website. Once you're done, we'll start showing your visitors' activity right away.
Note: You can add the code during a Squarespace free trial, but trial sites are private, so visitors will only see your notifications after you upgrade. When you upgrade, choose the Core, Plus or Advanced plan (or keep an older Business or Commerce plan). Basic and Personal don't include Code Injection, so the code would stop working.
1. Copy your ProveSource code
In your ProveSource dashboard, click Install Code, choose Squarespace and copy your code.
2. Add the code to Squarespace
1. Log in to Squarespace and open your website.
2. Click Website, then Pages.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the Pages panel, open Custom Code and click Code Injection.
Shortcut: open Code Injection directly. Pick your site and Squarespace takes you straight to the panel.
4. Paste your ProveSource code into the Header box and click Save.

That's it. Open your website in a new tab and ProveSource will detect the code within a few minutes.
3. Create your notification
Go back to ProveSource and create your first notification.
Show Squarespace orders and form sign-ups
Form sign-ups: once the code is installed, ProveSource captures submissions from your Squarespace forms automatically. Create a notification that tracks your form's page.
Orders: Squarespace orders aren't sent to ProveSource automatically. Connect them with Zapier (a free account works): use the Squarespace Commerce app with the New Order trigger, then the ProveSource Send event action into a Stream notification that tracks webhooks. Tip: Squarespace checkout pages don't allow custom code, so notifications won't appear on the checkout itself. They show on all your other pages.
